Faceted stone mounts are oven and torch safe, being made from 925 Sterling Silver
They have a bottomless cup shape and a slightly beveled edge at the top, allowing a 4mm cut gemstone to sit perfectly. There is enough material at the top to close the mount over the edge of the stone. It can be easily buried in clay or it can be glued to a burnt piece.
