FOREDOM double axis grinder
The Foredom grinder has a high torque, permanent magnet motor that is quiet and ensures smooth operation. The 1/6 HP motor offers variable speeds between 500-7000 rpm and includes two locking twin-screw torsional drive shafts. The shafts are suitable for use with a variety of polishing discs up to 100mm including cotton, felt and suede, lead or wood; even smaller wheels with holes up to 7/16 inch in diameter can also be used. The cast iron housing has mounting holes as well as suction cups to keep the lathe stable and secure on the work surface. This motor polisher is not recommended for more than 2-4 hours of continuous use.
Please note – Wheels or discs larger than 100mm in diameter should not be used with this motor. This product comes with a 2 year warranty.
