The Gold application kit - keum-boo, contains everything you need to apply 24k gold to your silver jewelry. This is the kit used in the course Gold Applications - Keum-Boo Technique

Keum-Boo is an ancient Korean technique by which metals were gilded using pure gold (24K). This gilding technique was applied not only on silver, but also on steel, copper or bronze. Thus, non-precious metals were ennobled by this technique.

Pure precious metals such as silver and gold have about the same atomic structure, therefore, they have an increased potential to be united (fused). Therefore, heating these metals to temperatures between 500 and 700 ° C increases the movement of atoms. If pressure is added, an exchange of electrons will result in the surface between the two metals, creating a solid and permanent bond.

Tips & Warnings To get a perfect grip, we recommend that the silver be clean. Before applying the fire, you can glue the gold pieces using Klyr Fire glue (1 part to 3 parts water)
