Stainless steel firing support also known as trivet, is an essential accessory for enamelling. It is used to support enameled pieces while they are fired in the kiln. It provides a raised surface to allow heat to circulate completely around the enameled piece. Particularly useful for applying enamel to more than one side of a part, stainless steel firing posts ensure that the enameled part is supported with minimal contact with previous layers of enamel. This firing stand or trivet measures approximately 85 x 75 x 33 mm and has raised V-shaped sections to provide four points of support for enamel pieces.
