The Ring Maker – Wedding Rings – CMMC Tools is the simplest device for cutting rings from metal clay, ceramic, porcelain, etc. from the world!

The Ring Maker is a complete set of cutters for round rings, wedding rings. The set contains 14 cutters for cutting rings of different sizes, from 6 to 13 (American sizes) or between 53 - 69 European sizes.
Under each Ring Marker cutter, the size of the ring is marked in US, UK, EU, JP sizes but also in millimeters to know the diameter of the ring.

The inner core is interchangeable. This allows the user to adjust the thickness of the ring band. To change them, screw exactly in the center of the cutter to keep the center perfectly aligned.

Using the set conventionally, a size 8 US core in a size 8 US outer cutter will make a 2,5mm thick ring, but for example in a size 6 outer cutter the ring will it was 1,5 mm thick. In a size 10 outer cutter, the ring will be 3,5mm thick.

The boxes are designed to be as small as possible and the cutters are well fixed to the base of the box, in the designated place, which makes them easy to transport and hard to lose.
Each type of clay will have a different rate of shrinkage. These dimensions should be used as a guide and not as a final shrinkage calculation. Test ring sizes with your clay types to ensure final ring size.

• If you use heating elements such as a hot plate or a dehydrator, the temperature should never exceed 47°Celsius, otherwise the Ring Maker™ may be damaged
• The sizes shown on the Ring Maker™ are the sizes before drying and firing and not the final dimensions of a fired ring. You will need to take into account the shrinkage percentage for each metal clay
• The ring must be removed from the Ring Maker™ BEFORE it is completely dry. Otherwise, cracks may appear on the ring, it will be very difficult to remove and may even damage the Ring Maker™. All the details regarding the optimal drying time and timing will be detailed below.
• These instructions can sometimes seem very precise and technical and make it seem like using the Ring Maker™ is complex, but rest assured it is not!

Ring Maker™ consists of three elements:

• The inner part, or Core, is what gives the ring its size. It is removable.
• The outside, or Cutter, is what gives your ring the thickness
• The movable part of the Cutter is called the Pusher and will allow you to eject the ring out of the Ring Maker after drying.
