Art Clay Certification Courses are courses created according to a pre-established curriculum and are recognized at European level.
The Art Clay World Europe standard curriculum is a region-wide educational system designed to provide you with all the skills and techniques needed to work with Art Clay Silver. These courses provide clear, step-by-step instructions and are taught by experienced and accredited Art Clay instructors. The certification consists of two courses, Level 1 and Level 2, which should be taken approximately 6 months apart. As each certification level lasts around 3-4 days, this break gives students enough time to put into practice the knowledge gained from the previous level.
Certification Courses are not just simple courses but also include an assessment, so each project/piece will be assessed by the instructor, together with a Board of Examiners. If the result is satisfactory, you will receive the certification and assessment, in writing. If the assessment is not satisfactory, the instructor will guide you to redo the pieces or, as the case may be, fix the mistakes to reach the required level of certification.
After completing the two Art Clay Certification courses you have the opportunity to move on to Instructor Certification, which is the highest certification. This certification can be obtained through an exam in which three pieces will be created, according to the given requirements, then sent for evaluation, to a Master instructor. To follow the Art Clay Certification program, it is necessary to have a minimum of knowledge about the use of Art Clay brand products. This knowledge can be acquired in the Introduction to Jewelry course Metal Clay – Intensive, a course created especially for beginners.
Once you have attended a certification course, you will benefit from a discount on Art Clay products (clay, paste, paper, syringe, 999, 950, copper, gold *) but also the opportunity to take specialization courses on various techniques, such as Quiling (minimum Cert. Level 1) or New Mokume Gane (Certified Instructor)
The courses can be taught both in Romanian and in English or Spanish!
